In modern society, oil is still used as a base crude for the production of different objects in more around the world.

To find out how the geopolite has been managed from the 20th century to the present day, the group has prepared a global list of oil based on the proven reserves of each country. The information, from the CIA Factbook, refers to known oil.

The amount of extractable and commercially viable crude oil will be shown based on the most precise geological characteristics. Like the illustrated map, there is little correlation between the size of a country and its oil reserves.

The list of Proved reserves shows that Venezuela is ranked 1 in terms of crude oil, but the case of Venezuela is very particular, because, despite having the largest amount of crude oil in the world, its situation Socioeconomics has been deplorable in recent times which prevents it, one day today, from taking real advantage of it.
